This map is an example of a bad map. The map is confusing and has effects that clutter the map more than enhance what they are trying to show. The 3D effect creates potential for misunderstandings on locations.

This map shows bicycle routes through Shanghai. I feel this is an example of a good map due to the simplicity and the usefulness. It is very clear and to the point.
